Sewing Weekend

Hi there quilting friends! A few weeks ago we had a fun little sewing weekend with a few of our quilty friends! We had so much fun sewing all weekend long with each other!

On Saturday we decided to have a fun Show and Tell over at our local quilt shop Marcia's! Everyone brought something quilty to show! Before we did Show and Tell, we each told the story of how we got into quilting! It was so fun to hear everyone's stories!

We just love this quilting community and the awesome sisterhood we develop! :)

30's Baby Quilt and Brown and Blue Quilt

Hi there quilting friends! We have a couple of really fanstastic quilts to share with you today!

First up is this adorable 30's baby quilt! This was made by Camille, and she did such a lovely job! We love those log cabin blocks, and the layout she used!

We love the sweet novelty prints in this quilt! They are just so charming! Camille picked a simple Meandering pattern for the quilt, and we loved how it turned out!

Next up is this beautiful quilt made by Donna Hartle:

She did a lovely job piecing this quilt, and we love the serene colors and prints he used in her quilt.

She picked this intricate pattern called Peasant, the quilting turned out lovely and really enhanced her quilt!

We really enjoyed quilting both of these lovely quilts!

Strawberry Table Runner and Pumpkin Runner

Hi there quilting friends!  We have a couple of lovely table runners to share with you today!

First up is this delightful Strawberry Table runner by Lindsey Weight!

Lindsey made this from Lori Holt's Farm Girl Vintage book.  We love the scrappy happy look of these strawberries! They are so much fun!  She used a variety of reds and pinks for the strawberries--which made it so fun and scrappy!

Lindsey picked this fun pattern for her runner! We enjoyed quilting this for Lindsey! This was a fun pattern and we thought the pink thread gave it an extra special touch!

Next up is this darling and festive Pumpkin Table Runner by Connie Gurlach!
How fun is this runner?! We love the curved piecing in this pattern, and she did such a lovely job piecing it!

She picked this great maple leaf pattern for her runner!  She could not have picked a more lovely pattern for this project! We loved how it turned out!

Connie will be offering this class at our local quilt shop Marcia's this fall! We can't wait!
