Hi there quilting friends! We have sure been busy here at The Stitching Room!

We quilted this amazing Trip Around the World quilt last week! Oh my goodness, this quilt is absolutely stunning!

This quilt was just a dream to work with!  The maker wanted to remain anonymous, but she does such lovely work! Her seams were nice and pressed, no loose threads, and it was very square!  :)

This quilted up so nicely! We just love the quilting pattern she decided on! And that backing fabric, could not be more perfect for this quilt!

Look at those perfectly matched up seams!!

30's Quilt and Outdoor Quilt

Hi quilting friends! We have a couple of lovely quilts to share with you today!

Helen Willardson brought in these quilty treasures for us to quilt!  These are both made out of true 30's fabrics! Helen cut out all of the pieces from her mother's old blouses, aprons, and other pieces of clothing to make these quilts.

She is giving these quilts to her children.  She wanted them to have something that came from their grandmother- something they could cherish for a long time! Plus it's even more special because she made it for them! So it's like getting a gift from two people! How special is that?!

Helen picked this fabulous quilting pattern! This is one of our favorites! It went on so well, and really enhanced the quilts!

We were so thrilled and honored to quilt these amazing quilts! Thank you Helen! We know your kids will treasure these!

 --------------------------------------------------------------------

Our next quilt is this fun outdoor quilt by Nettie Moore:

How great is this quilt?!  This has some of the cutest outdoor prints we have seen! That center panel piece is just too cute!

She picked this fun cowboy pattern for the quilt! The design went on really well, and really complimented the quilt!

Nettie made this quilt for her grandson Sawyer! His room is all decorated in a cowboy theme, so she thought she better make him a quilt to match :)  Sawyer just loved his new quilt from his grandma!

We really enjoyed quilting this Nettie! We know your grandson will give this quilt lots of love and cuddles!

Christmas Table Runners

Hi there quilting friends!  We have some charming table runners to share with you today! Karen Powell brought these little lovelies in for us to quilt!

Aren't they adorable! She did such a fantastic job on these! There are a lot of fun embellishments on each of the runners, and she did a fabulous job with her handwork!

She picked a simple meandering pattern for the quilting, and we couldn't be happier with how it turned out! The meandering turned out beautifully on each runner and complimented the runners perfectly!

Aren't these Poinsettia's so pretty!  What a fun way to add texture to your quilting projects!

And we sure love those reindeer! They are so charming! :)

We can't wait to see these when they are all finished and bound!!  Thank you Karen for the opportunity to quilt these beauties! :)
